This Website’s subtitle and focus is facilitating people’s “becoming oaks of righteousness in Christ Jesus” (Isaiah 61:3; Ephesians 4:13), an important part of which involves engaging people in conversations about what and why we believe in Him as our only Savior and Lord. (1 Peter 3:15) In order to do so, it is necessary to know the truth about Islam, including it’s stated purpose in its authoritative writings, especially in the Qur’an and the Hadith, and how believers in and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ should respond to the challenge of Islam, by speaking the truth in love. (Ephesians 4:15)
It is always essential to turn to trustworthy sources for information that is true. Thus, I have received the permission of a dear friend, Rev. Bassam Michael Madany, to include some of his extensive writings on this page. He is an eminent scholar, who speaks and writes with authority on Islam. He is a native of Syria; speaks Arabic fluently; is well-informed about the history and teachings of Islam; knows thoroughly the Qur’an, parts of which he can quote in Arabic from memory, the Hadith, and much other Islamic literature; and keeps current on Muslim movements around the world, much of which he and his family have experienced firsthand for generations. For almost 40 years he proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Arabic to the Middle East in a pioneering radio ministry.
